Great for Families with Kids

The hotel was clean and quiet, perfect for my kids to not hear doors slamming all night. The indoor pool was great, we had it all to ourselves both times we went.

It wasn’t inexpensive but still reasonable for the quality.

During my stay at Lakeview Golf Resort, I was truly impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. They assisted me with my luggage and always had great recommendations for nearby activities, making my visit so enjoyable.

A mini fridge would enhance the stay immensely.

Had a fantastic stay with friends! The accommodations were thoughtfully appointed, and we played on the beautifully designed courses surrounded by stunning views. Plus, the staff was super friendly and helpful. We spent our days enjoying the scenic outdoor areas and took an easy trip to the nearby lake, which was perfect for some fun in the sun. Definitely a great getaway!

The indoor pool was mentioned in ads but was closed during our stay, making it a bit disappointing. We could've used that for some fun downtime with the group.

I recently stayed at Lakeview Golf Resort for two nights. The location really caught my attention. it's conveniently situated near the golf course with beautiful views. The room felt comfortable and had decent amenities, though the beds could use a little more attention for comfort. Unfortunately, our room wasn’t cleaned well. I found used toilet paper in the commode and the coffee maker was dusty. The bathroom had some issues too, like a missing towel hook and peeling ceiling. Despite being out for most of the day, housekeeping didn’t come until after we returned in the afternoon. I had to ask for more towels multiple times. The staff was friendly, which was a plus, but their response time for cleaning and requests could definitely improve. Breakfast options were quite limited, basically just bagels and cereal. not what I expected for a resort. Overall, the stay had its ups but also significant downs.

A decent place for golfers

Stayed 3 nights in a double room. The place was nice and clean, but the microwave was broken. Called guest services but only got busy signals, so I had to go to the front desk for towels and toilet paper. They fixed the microwave right away, though! Greens were beautiful, and the bar had good snacks. The kitchen needs an upgrade, but it wasn't a huge deal.

A clean stay with a rocky start

The room was pleasantly spacious with great natural light streaming in. The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to help with a smile.

However, we were disappointed to find the indoor pool closed during our stay, which was one of the reasons we chose the hotel. Maintenance issues were also evident, with outdated decor and appliances.

The grounds are gorgeous, staff is efficient and friendly, rooms are clean, bed linens are up-to-date and comfy.

This was just an optimal selection for a city break in Morgantown with great value for money. The day we arrived, the guest rep at the front desk was super nice and welcoming. Make sure to check your light bulbs upon arrival.

great hikes and beautiful parks right at your doorstep

I loved my stay in the area because it was a short trip to both the gorgeous Cheat Lake Trail and the beautiful West Virginia Botanic Garden, making it easy to enjoy scenic walks without having to drive anywhere. The room was very clean, adding to a pleasant stay overall.

We had a lovely time playing golf on the beautiful course and enjoying the heated swimming pool. The relaxing sun terrace was a great spot to unwind after our round. Just a heads up, the breakfast could have had more variety, but overall, it was a fantastic stay! ☀️
